Become a lifeguard

Copenhagen Lifeguard Club is a voluntary association and a community started in spring 2013 by lifeguards in Florida Coastal Lifeguard. We help one another
As a member of the Copenhagen Lifeguard Club, you are part of an association where everything is based on volunteers and cooperation.
This means that we can keep a low level of membership fees, but it also means that we hope that you, as a member, want to offer your commitment to the club, as it is the foundation for the club’s strong spirit and community.
In practice, this means that you as a member i.a. helps to stand on the sidelines for our indoor trainings where we have to have a supervisor, arranges outdoor trainings or helps to support the club in something completely third.
Swimmers
Our members are a mixed bunch of good swimmers and beginners, as well as both inshore lifeguards and non-inshore lifeguards. There are also members who are training to become coastal lifeguards, so there is a lot of experience you can draw on.
Copenhagen Lifeguard Club is a community where we think it is important that we have fun with each other. In addition to our weekly trainings, we therefore regularly hold social events, such as summer parties, New Year’s relay, bowling trips and much more! If you have an idea for something else that could be cool, please submit it.
